2. Diskit Monastery 

Diskit monastery is located in the Diskit region of Ladakh. It is a giant 100-foot Lord Buddha statue which is a source of attraction for the tourists, not only that but the Diskit Monastery is one the largest Buddhist Centre situated in Ladakh, It’s also the place where the last scene of ‘3 Idiots’ movie was shot(scene of Amir Khan’s school).

3. Shanti Stupa

Shanti Stupa is a white-domed monument which was built by a Japanese Bhikshu in the year 1991. It is one of the closest places to visit if you’re staying in Leh. 5. Drang-Drung Glacier Point

The Drang-Drung Glacier is a mountain glacier near the Pensi La mountain pass at the Kargil – Zanskar Road in the Kargil district of Ladakh.
